Training & Gaming Grounds
Spring (OSFL) - Alumni Stadium is the premier athletic facility at the University of Guelph. It serves as the home of the Guelph Gryphons varsity football program and is widely recognized for its modern design, high‑quality turf field, and spectator experience.
Fall (OFFL) - The Guelph Lake Sports Fields are a multi‑field outdoor sports complex used extensively for youth football, soccer, and community sport programs. Their well‑maintained natural grass fields provide a safe and spacious environment ideal for practices, development and league play.

Our coaching approach
Our coaching approach is built on development, consistency, and a positive learning environment. Coaches work to help every athlete grow their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game while reinforcing a strong foundation of discipline, respect, and teamwork. The goal is to create an experience where players improve, feel supported, and enjoy their time with the Guelph Minor Football Association.

How does registration work?
Online registration opens each spring and fall. Choose your program, complete the player profile, and pay the seasonal fee.
What equipment is needed?
Are coaches certified?
Can my child try a session first?
Yes. Throughout the off‑season, GMFA may offer Try Football sessions for certain, or sometimes all, age groups. These sessions give your child a chance to experience the game, meet coaches, and get comfortable on the field before committing to a team.
It’s a great way for families to make a more informed decision about joining one of our programs.
